Darin Hicks
Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Darin Hicks, founder and CEO of Hive9, has experience leading aggressive growth plans focused on multi-channel marketing, customer lifetime value, and complex software and services sales.

Prior to Hive9, Darin was CEO of Bulldog Solutions, where the original ideas for Hive9 were developed, and VP/general manager of Acxiom, where he grew the technology business unit into the company’s first global industry and brought new solutions to market in the insurance vertical.

Darin was also founder and CEO of Software Leadership Services, a management consulting company providing domain and operational expertise to early-stage software and services companies. Prior to that, he served at Trilogy, which grew from a start-up to over $250 million in revenue over nine years. There, Darin held a number of key leadership positions in the U.S. and Europe, including managing their primary industry verticals and leading their professional services organization from $28 million to $130 million in three years.

A native of Durand, Mich., Darin graduated from Stanford University in 1992 with a bachelor’s of science degree in industrial engineering.

Bruce Brien
Chief Strategy Officer

As CSO, Bruce is responsible for assisting the CEO with the growth, operations and product strategy, ensuring that Hive9 delivers the greatest impact possible for its customers, employees and shareholders. Bruce spends much of his time meeting with potential customers, existing customers and partners, ensuring that Hive9 delivers on its promise from the earliest interaction with prospects through to their ultimate successful implementation and advocacy as customers.

Prior to joining Hive9, Bruce was the chief technology officer at SiriusDecisions for five years. He was responsible for the strategic technology direction of the company, as well as the strategy to innovate the digital delivery of its intellectual property. He was also responsible for several specific functions of the business, including the Benchmarking and Analytics practice area and the new and expanded data strategy, as well as new software development, the web portal and online tools.

Earlier in his career, Bruce held leadership roles at Bulldog Solutions and JD Edwards while also founding his own company, Stratascope, and running it for 10 years before eventually selling it to the Savo Group.

Jason Andrade
VP, Customer Success

Jason's passion is to help every marketer manage their world with data. No longer can marketers be viewed as an expense. They must be viewed as a revenue-generating organization. They must be able to be able to back up their claims with numbers. He strives to help his customers realize this goal - not with fuzzy logic and assumptions but with rock-solid data.

Knowing how the campaigns that you create meet defined strategic goals, effectively managing budget, ensuring collaboration across silos and syncing a diverse technology stack are the main problems that marketers face when moving toward this marketing nirvana. Hive9 understands and has lived these problems. Hive9 was designed by B2B marketers to provide its users the insights to run a high-performance marketing organization. We have built our product from the point of view of the marketer.

Gary Gilchrist
VP, Sales

As VP of sales, Gary is responsible for sustaining the impressive year-on-year growth that Hive9 has enjoyed. As an increasing number of high-performing marketing teams begin to identify a need for agile planning and measurement solutions, they are seeking best-in-class technologies to replace existing antiquated processes.  

To help Hive9 keep up with this demand, Gary is committed to building a customer-centric sales team that continually strives to add real value in the buyer’s journey. He is an expert at enhancing the sales infrastructure and go-to-market strategies needed to institutionalize sales processes that form the DNA needed to posture Hive9 for significant growth.  

Over the course of his career, Gary has led enterprise sales and business development for multiple SaaS companies, selling martech solutions to Fortune 1000 companies in the U.S. and EMEA. Many of the start-ups that he has helped scale have been successfully acquired by organizations such as Experian, Dunn & Bradstreet, West Corp. and ON24.

Originally from Wales, Gary graduated from Staffordshire University with a BSc (Hons) in Applied Science.
